Healthcare Data Analyst - Work From Home

Laboratory Express Diagnostics is seeking a skilled Healthcare Data Analyst to join our Analytics team in a 100% work-from-home capacity. You will transform complex healthcare and laboratory data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and improve patient outcomes.

• Analyze complex healthcare and laboratory datasets to identify trends and patterns
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools
• Create data visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders
• Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling
• Collaborate with clinical, operations, and business teams to understand data needs
• Design and implement data quality monitoring processes
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources
• Prepare executive presentations and data-driven recommendations
• Support regulatory reporting and compliance initiatives
• Document analytical methodologies and processes

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Healthcare Informatics, or related field
• 3+ years of healthcare data analysis experience
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker)
• Strong skills in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and advanced formulas
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and data mining techniques
• Understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, CPT)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills with ability to present complex data clearly
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

• Master's degree in related field
• Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis
• Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics
• Familiarity with healthcare operations and clinical workflows
• Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS)
• Epic, Cerner, or other EHR system experience
• Healthcare analytics certification
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
